To-Dos & Templates

The timeline is the centerpiece, but events also need task management and reusable structures. Pro handles both.

To-do list

Single Event note: Single Event users can browse event-type to-do templates and packing lists in the workspace panel, but editing and checking off items requires Pro.

In your dashboard, click "To-Do List" in the sidebar. You can create standalone to-dos or link them to specific clients and timelines.

Each event type has a template — select "Wedding" and you'll get a pre-built to-do list with items like "Book photographer," "Order flowers," "Confirm catering menu," etc. Edit, add, or remove items as needed.

To-dos linked to a timeline appear grouped under that timeline in your dashboard, giving you a single view of both the schedule and the task list.

Overdue tracking

To-dos with a due date that has passed are flagged as overdue. The sidebar badge shows the overdue count, and overdue items are highlighted in the list. Use the "Overdue" filter to see only items that need attention.

Saving as a template

If you run similar events repeatedly — weekly corporate lunches, seasonal galas, recurring workshops — save the timeline structure as a template.

In the editor, use the Save dropdown and click "Save as Template." Give it a name and optional description. The template appears in your dashboard under "My Templates."

Next time you create a timeline for a similar event, start from your saved template instead of rebuilding from scratch. The template loads all items and structure; just update the dates and details.

What's next

Now that your tasks and reminders are set up, learn about audience-filtered sharing — show different parts of your timeline to different people.
