Welcome to eventrundown ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our services.
We collect information you directly provide to us:
Automatically Collected Information: We may collect information about your browser type, IP address, pages visited, and time spent on our site through cookies and similar technologies.
We use the information we collect to:
Client-Side Processing: Your event timeline data is primarily processed on your device and encoded into shareable URLs. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze website usage, and remember your preferences. You can control cookie settings in your browser, though this may affect site functionality.
We set a first-party cookie named er_visitor_id containing a random identifier with a two-year expiry. Its sole purpose is to link anonymous and signed-in activity from the same browser so we can measure our product funnel (e.g., which features lead to signups). The identifier is stored on our servers alongside hashed IP addresses, is never shared with third parties, and is processed under our legitimate interest in understanding product usage. You can clear this cookie at any time through your browser settings.
We may use third-party services to enhance our platform, including:
These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of information.
Pro Planners on eventrundown can opt to send day-of timeline reminders via SMS. All SMS messaging complies with US TCPA requirements and CTIA messaging guidelines, including recipient-confirmed double opt-in.
Before any reminders are scheduled, we send the recipient a one-time confirmation text identifying the planner's business and asking them to reply YES. Only after the recipient replies YES will we schedule reminders. The planner cannot consent on the recipient's behalf.
Day-of event reminders only — typically 1-5 messages on the event day. We do not send marketing, promotional, or recurring messages.
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Opt-out applies immediately across all planners using eventrundown — any scheduled reminders for that phone number are cancelled.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email us at info@eventrundown.com.
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Phone numbers are shared with Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, solely to send these reminders. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. No SMS-related data is shared with any other third party.
