Notifications & Preferences
EventRundown notifies you when your clients take action — so you don't have to keep checking.
What triggers a notification
- Client comment — when a client posts a comment on a questionnaire, you get an in-app notification with their name and the comment text
- Questionnaire complete — when a client clicks "I'm Done" on their questionnaire, you're notified that it's ready for review
The notification bell
A bell icon appears in the header next to your Dashboard button. When you have unread notifications, a red badge shows the count. Click the bell to see your recent notifications in a dropdown. Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant questionnaire (comments open automatically if it's a comment notification).
Notification center
For a full view of all your notifications, go to your dashboard and click "Notifications" in the sidebar. Here you can:
- Filter by all or unread only
- Mark individual notifications as read
- Mark all as read
- Delete notifications you no longer need
Email preferences
By default, notifications are delivered both in-app and via email. At the bottom of the Notifications view in your dashboard, you'll find email preference toggles:
- Email notifications — master toggle for all notification emails
- Questionnaire comments — receive an email when a client comments
- Client completed questionnaire — receive an email when a client clicks "I'm Done"
Turn off any toggle to receive that notification type only in-app. Turn off the master toggle to disable all notification emails.
