The Branded Viewer Page
When you share a timeline link with a client or vendor, they land on the viewer page. For Pro planners with team branding configured, this page carries your brand — not ours.
What clients see
At the top of every shared timeline, a branded header appears showing:
- Your logo — displayed at the top of the page
- Your company name — prominently shown next to or below the logo
- Your website — a clickable link so clients can visit your site
- Your accent color — used as a border accent on the header
This means when a bride opens her timeline link the night before the wedding, the first thing she sees is your brand — not "Made with EventRundown."
Setting up your brand
The viewer page pulls branding from your team settings. To set it up:
- Go to your dashboard and click Team in the sidebar
- Under Team Branding, upload your logo
- Fill in your company name and website
- Set your brand accent color — this is the color used on the viewer header border and other accent elements
Once saved, every timeline you share will automatically display your branding on the viewer page. No per-timeline setup needed.
What shows for different plan levels
The viewer header adapts based on what you've configured:
- Pro with logo + company name + website — full branded header with logo, name, and clickable website link
- Pro with company name only — company name displayed, no logo
- Pro with logo only — logo displayed, no text
- Pro with creator name (no team branding) — shows "Prepared by [Your Name]"
- Free plan — no planner branding shown
Social sharing previews
When someone shares your timeline link on iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, or social media, the link preview shows:
- The event title
- "Prepared by [Your Company Name]" in the description (if configured)
- The timeline preview image
This means even the link preview reinforces your brand before anyone clicks.
Private vs public timelines
You can toggle each timeline between public and private in the editor's share section:
- Public — anyone with the link can view it
- Private — only you (the owner) can view it. Others see a 404 page
Private timelines are useful for drafts you're not ready to share yet. Flip it to public when the client is ready to see it.
Custom URL slugs
Instead of eventrundown.com/v/abc123, Pro lets you set a custom slug like eventrundown.com/v/sarah-michael-wedding. This is covered in detail in Branding Your Timeline.
What's next
Your viewer page looks professional. Now export and share your timeline as a PDF, image, or calendar file.
